Even 6 years ago when he bought the LA Times Dr Soon Shiong wanted to see changes and a more open medium which reported ALL important stories ans kept opinion out of the news

Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong new owner of the Los Angeles Times , sounds more like an old school journalist trying to keep editorial and news separate. He took a lot of criticism United duration of presidential candidate but at the end hopefully it will help and he's not the only one do we get but he's a little more vocal about it.
As he told Scott Jennings on the Michael Gallagher show he will welcome diverse comments on all sites of issues and he will introduce AI to help keep that balance.
Of course , that other South African trying to rebalance media is Elon Musk, who bought Twitter and de-sensorized it ,so to speak, allowing open content - even though some on the Left are calling it propaganda . but you won't find people losing their accounts for speaking out on differing sides of issues.
